The Maloof high Ollie challenge was definitely one for the record books, but not for the height that was reached but for the temperature of 19 degrees outside that everyone had to skate in if they wanted there chance to win a free trip to Las Vegas to compete in the finals.
Benji Ross and Darren Harper tied at a amazing 41inches. They will both be battling it out at the Palms in Vegas for there chance at $15,000. Not to be over looked Bobby Linthicum from Germantown ollied 39" and from Frederick Thomas Gumphrey ollied 37". Did we mention the wind chill was 9 degrees! Thanks goes out to everyone that braved the cold to support the event today.
